A Farm Family ~ 1920-2002
As adults now, we children were so blessed to be able to grow up on the farm. There were chores to be done but special moments even up to the time when the farm was sold in 2002. We will always remember the Wilson Lake, all the various animals that we grew up taking care of, the mud baths we took (in our parents absence) when the new well was dug in the mid-fifties, plucking chickens and picking raspberries on Saturday mornings (very early) to get produce ready for the market, bike rides, milking the cows (me), playing in the hayloft on the bales of hay, and thankfully having no shortage of farm-grown foods to eat. There are too many fond memories to list here but there is no doubt that there are many fond memories that we kids all share.
